Business Development Executive: Director to VP Level
Reports to the CEO
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Executive, to validate, develop and begin execution of the Company’s channel strategies. The Business Development Executive will work closely with the CEO and AdhereTx executive management to develop strong business partnerships with large enterprises (e.g., Payers (Medicare), Accountable Care Organizations including hospitals, IPAs, and EHRs) who will offer ATx’s services for medication management to their client bases . The successful individual in this position will be able to evaluate opportunities in several different, but related target segments quickly, and demonstrate a systematic approach to building channel partnerships that can amplify the rate of customer acquisition measurably over the next 12 months.
Responsibilities will include:
- Identify and prioritize appropriate channels (5%)
- Develop and execute plan to develop relationships with target companies and establish a beachhead in the most promising verticals/channels (5%)
- Present value proposition to target executives; develop proposal for relationship; negotiate terms and conditions of a channel partnership (75%)
- Work with appropriate ATx team members who will be responsible for the sale and implementation of service on a partner by partner basis (15%)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Direct experience with some or all of the following: Medicare Advantage/Plan D Payers. Capitated provider networks, IPAs. We will also consider experience with service solution providers in EHR, Home Health Care, Aging in Place, Remote Monitoring markets.
- Business Development experience with large enterprises in the Payer and Provider spaces, Health Information Technology
- A “passion” for getting the deal done with effective involvement of the team
- Highest ethical standards
- High energy and willingness to do whatever is needed to get the Company to its next stage of growth
- Experience in selling to and working with senior level management
- Strong communications skills (writing and presentation) and computer skills
- Minimum 7 to 10 years experience in direct, high-level sales/business development
- An MBA is desired
