The AdhereTx Solution for therapy management in chronic care (or ATxM^TM)  depicted here elicits and captures patient self-medication behavior and observation of daily living (ODL) data including prescribed drugs, over-the-counter drugs, supplements and how they interact; as well as information about food and dosage timing, and accepts input from biometric devices. These combine to become smart data that are reduced through proprietary algorithms and a rules engine to output corrective strategies tailored to the individual patient; and decision support for required therapeutic intervention by a clinician. Additional analytics/reports distill both individual patient and population data for the provider.  The rules engine also addresses other chronic problems people often self-medicate for including osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, depression, anxiety, insomnia, gastro esophageal reflux, and allergies, and examines the impact of anticoagulants and medications used to treat hypothyroidism. The solution is an interoperable, high-availability, scalable SaaS platform that can facilitate data exchange with a variety of access devices, health records systems, and related care delivery solutions.
